The church we have today is the fulfillment of a vision from God. The founding pastor of this church was Sister Pearl Hall. I heard her preach as a child, growing up in my grandfather’s church, my uncle’s church, and in other places.

As I entered into the ministry as a very young man, God sent me to her ministry to learn from her and sit under her. She was very influential in the early days of my ministry. I served under her as clerk of the church and as assistant pastor.
